Lily Gontard

Lily is a filmmaker and writer grateful to be living as a settler in Whitehorse, the traditional territories of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and Ta’an Kwäch’än Council. She produces and directs short documentaries with a northern focus, and has worked as a script supervisor on short narrative films in the Yukon. She won one of the Screen Production Yukon Association 2024 Producer Bootcamp pitch prizes. Her short documentaries “Whalefall” (2020) and “Inspiration in Nature” (2021) screened at film festivals around the world. She has short documentary and narrative projects in pre-development and development.
