
Karli Zschogner is a Whitehorse Yukon-based video journalist, filmmaker, trainer, and community organizer. From daily news to long-form investigative work, her video, audio, and web reporting prioritizes trauma-informed storytelling and underreported communities while encouraging solutions-focused journalism. Years based in the Western Arctic town of Inuvik, NWT, her work has appeared with CBC News, APTN National News, Cabin Radio, Up Here Magazine, BBC News, and Inuvialuit Communications Society.
Her short documentaries have screened at the Atlantic International Film Festival and the Dawson City International Short Film Festival, while her drone and portrait photography has been recognized by the Far North Photography Festival and the Norwegian Arctic Council. She has been location manager for multiple international productions including Amazing Race Canada and Nikolaus Geyrhalter Filmproduktion.
