Why Join SPYA?
Yukon’s small but mighty screen media industry contributes about $8 million each year to the territory’s economy and supports over 80 full time jobs. By becoming a member of SPYA, you will become part of a network of professionals helping to grow this exciting and creative industry.
Who Can Be a Member?
Our members are independent, entrepreneurial, adaptable professionals involved in producing, creating and servicing feature films, commercial videos, documentaries, series, live events, music videos, animations, short films, and digital productions across all genres. SPYA offers two membership categories:
Professional Members
Yukon residents with 2+ years experience and/or training in screen-based production demonstrated in submitted resume, portfolio or credits. Professional memberships are $100 annually, (first-time and remote professionals from Yukon Communities memberships are $50).
Benefits include:
● 40% discount on SPYA studio space and gear rentals
● Ability to purchase short-term production insurance

● Member profile in Social Media
● Reduced rates on training

Associate Members
This non-voting membership is open to anyone interested in being part of SPYA. Associate memberships are $30 annually.

Membership Validity
Memberships must be renewed annually on April 1.
