We are one month out from SPYA’s annual Yukon Screen Media Industry Conference on November 7-9. One of the initiatives of this year’s event is a screening at the Friday Gala showcasing the incredible work of SPYA’s members and the Yukon industry as a whole. If you have any projects you’ve completed (or are working on) in the past year we would love to include them in the screening.
We are looking for short segments (60 to 90 seconds) that will be curated based on format, genre and natural pairings. The segments will play in their entirety, and we want to include as many as possible, hence the short duration request.
The goal is to promote the variety of projects produced in the territory, so please send along any short or feature films, trailers, music videos, commercials, or educational works. If your work is longer than 90 seconds, we ask you to select or edit a portion for the screening. Please feel free to submit more than one clip if you have multiple projects you would like to share!
Additionally this curated footage will play on loop in the lobby studio for the duration of the festival. If there is a full-length copy of your project online, we can also promote this to attendees through our website.
We may also edit together a SPYA Industry Reel to promote our members in the future, so let us know if that’s something you are interested in.
