The Yukon Screen Media Industry Conference and Awards will take place from November 15 to 17, 2024 in Whitehorse, Yukon!

Day 1: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, November 15, 2024: Mix and Mingle!
Kick off the conference by joining us for a casual and welcoming gathering at Sheep Camp! This evening promises a laid-back networking experience where you can connect with other attendees, speakers, and industry professionals.

Day 2: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, November 16, 2024: Yukon Screen Media Industry Conference
This isn’t your usual conference agenda! Join us for an exciting dive into the captivating world of screen production in the Yukon, where creativity takes center stage. With inspiring talks from industry experts, the day offers plenty of opportunities to connect, learn, and celebrate our unique journey. It’s a fantastic chance for the Yukon screen industry to come together and spark new ideas, so be sure to join us! Stay tuned for detailed programming coming soon.

Day 2: 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM, November 16, 2024: Yukon Screen Media Industry Awards
Join us for an inspiring evening of celebration as we present the Viewfinder Award, honoring the exceptional talent and innovation driving the growth of the Yukon screen industry, alongside the Focus Award, which recognizes the significant contributions of key industry figures. Don’t miss this engaging night filled with awards, networking, and exciting opportunities as we shine the light on the best of the Yukon screen industry and its potential.

Continuing on with creativity at the forefront, we’ll be hosting a couple workshops on Sunday that are included in your conference registration. Details on what these will include will be announced shortly, so stay tuned!
TICKET PRICING
- Early Bird Ticket Pricing (until Nov 8): $85
- Regular Ticket Pricing (after Nov 8): $115
Ticket pricing includes access to all conference sessions, the Friday night social, and the award gala. SPYA members have the option to purchase an additional gala ticket for $25, which can be selected during the checkout on Eventbrite.
Gala tickets are also available to the public at the following rates:
- Early Bird Ticket Pricing (Until Nov 8): $35
- Regular Ticket Pricing (After Nov 8): $55
Travel Reimbursement for Remote Members
If you’re a remote member, We’re pleased to offer travel support to remote members which will be reimbursed after the conference. Here’s what you can expect:
- Travel Distance Allowance: You’ll receive .69 cents (CAD) per kilometre to help cover your travel expenses.
- Accommodation Allowance: We provide $50 CAD per night to contribute to your accommodations during your trip.
