Audio Tech Multitrack Recording Workshop

In partnership with Music Yukon, we are offering a specialized tech workshop for Yukon live audio technicians. Led by Etienne Girard, a skilled audio technician, this workshop addresses essential aspects of live sound and recording.

Film and AV technicians will walk away with a strong foundation in multitrack recording, audio routing, and the use of digital consoles and audio interfaces. Learning multitrack recording is particularly beneficial for film technicians as it enables precise audio capture for post-production, offering flexibility in mixing and sound design for visual media.

Students will rotate between operating the sound console and learning to mic and mix different instrumentation tailored to the class’s specific needs.

• Time: 9am to 11am / 2:15pm to 4:15pm

The cost for this workshop is $100 per person. SPYA and Music Yukon members will receive a 40% discount.
