AIFF Partners Co-Production Market: Apply to join the 2026 Yukon Producer’s Delegation

Yukon Media Development is launching a call for applications for a Yukon Producer Delegation to the Atlantic International Film Festival Partners co-production market in Halifax, Nova Scotia September 16-18, 2026.

YMD will provide professional mentorship and funding up to 75% of eligible attendance costs. They have spots for up to six Yukon Producers, who will receive one-on-one mentorship from Producer Lauren Grant of Clique Pictures. The Producer Mentor and YMD staff will attend AIFF Partners to support the delegation.

AIFF Partners September 16-18, 2026

Program Objective:

  • To support the professional development of, and provide export support to, Yukon based professional film, television, and media producers with a slate of projects ready to pitch the Canadian and international markets.
  • This delegation will focus primarily on professional development and export readiness, including how producers prepare for festivals / conferences / market attendance, and the best practices for pitching and selling projects.


Project Scope / Eligibility

  • Eligible Producers must demonstrate a professional commitment to producing film, television, and / or media projects. Producers must be Yukon residents. Producers must have at least one produced work and a minimum of three projects on your slate ready to be pitched.
  • Media Development and the Delegation Mentor will select up to six Yukon resident Producers. Producers must submit pitch materials and an application form for the panel to review. (See the attached application form.)
  • Participants will be provided with mentorship from an established Canadian Producer to help prepare for the festival/conference, set goals and objectives, and assist with scheduling meetings and matchmaking at the event.


Financial Participation

  • Producers will be provided with funding for up to 75% of eligible cash expenses to a maximum of $3,250. Eligible expenses include conference registration, transportation, accommodations, and per diems. Producers are responsible for making up the remaining 25% of costs.
