Story Building for Scripted

Do you have a script that needs some work? Do you have an idea and don't know where to start? Apply to the Story Building for Scripted mentorship through SPYA. Writer, producer, director, Sonya Jampolsky will help you take your idea one step closer to what you want. 

Event Details

  • Dates:  January/February (6 hrs with the instructor over the month, plus your own writing time in between sessions).
  • Cost: $200 Members/$300 Non Members
  • Application: Please provide your CV and proposal/outline of the project you would like to work on, as well as a sample draft by January 17th.  Email info@spya.ca

Instructor

Sonya Jampolsky is a producer/director/writer who’s worked with broadcasters in Canada and US and whose work has been seen around the world. A former CBC journalist, she followed her passion for documentary, and has worked on everything from historical pieces, to cooking shows to true crime, and drama. Since receiving her MFA in creative non-fiction in 2019 she’s been working on a book based on her true crime series “What Happened to Holly Bartlett”.
