Kelsey has worked as a wilderness photography guide and film crew logistics for almost 25 years. Each fall, he leads walking with polar bear tours in Churchill, Manitoba, Canada. He was featured as a character and the natural history consultant for the Smithsonian Channel series ‘Polar Bear Town’.

In 2018, he made his directorial debut with Bears: Ultimate Survivors which has now sold in multiple markets across the world. He recently worked as a co-writer and executive producer on National Geographic’s Kingdom of the Polar Bear. His current directorial project is an international coproduction with We Are South Films entitled ‘Extremes of the Americas’.
